I recently May of 2021 graduated from High Point University with my bachelor's in Event Management. My minors include Business Administration and Hospitality. I will be graduating in May of 2022 with my M.A. in Business Communication and Leadership. I have achieved over 1,200+ Event Management volunteer hours. I have background experience specializing in weddings, corporate planning, university events, and recreational events. I have a passion for social media marketing and hospitality. I believe that my past experiences and schooling have prepared me to be an extraordinary event planner. I have plenty of experience working in the event industry that I would like to share with you in further detail. In the past, I have overseen projects like team meetings, fundraisers, and social events that I planned and coordinated. As you can see on my resume, I have experience working with the Madison- Mayodan Recreation Department. This has given me the perfect insight into community events and nonprofit organizations. I am very detailed and organized in all projects that I oversee. Being a day coordinator for weddings has provided me with an insight into the importance of being detail-oriented to satisfy clients. With my past role with Signature Wealth Strategies, I have background knowledge of events in the finance industry and corporate world. I have a passion for marketing and business branding through social media. I am eager to gain more knowledge and experience.
